ANTHRAX SCARE IN INDONESIAN CAPITAL

JAKARTA - Indonesia's national consumers' association has, according to this story, raised the alarm over the possibility of anthrax-contaminated beef and goat meat being sold in Jakarta markets, following an outbreak of the disease south of the capital, reports said Friday.
The health office in the city of Bogor, 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Jakarta reported earlier this week that 20 people there had been treated for anthrax in January, and that two of them had died.
