Je transfère à nouveau l'article ci-dessous qui indique une souche mutante de E coli à savoir O26.

N'étant pas spécialiste, il me semble qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une souche plus virulente (antibiorésistante) que les souches O26 déjà connues par les

scientifiques.

Je lance donc la question à la liste en indiquant quelques liens ci-dessous concernant la souche O26.

Voyez l' AVIS du 15 juillet 2008 de l'Agence française de sécurité sanitaire des aliments relatif aux souches d'Escherichia coli productrices de shigatoxines. Certaines souches STEC (Escherichia coli producteur de shigatoxine ou vérotoxine) de sérotype 026 peuvent provoquer des maladies infectieuses d'origine alimentaire.

A noter que le rapport sur les zoonoses au Royaume-Uni de 2007 indiquait également la présence de O26:

On constate donc une émergence de O26 sur le sol Britannique et Français.

L'hypothèse d'une émergence dûe à l'accroissement de la résistance du sérogroupe O26 aux antibiotiques devrait être précisée par des études. Je serais donc intéressé pour d'autres références qui tendent à démontrer cela.
